St. John’s Witness

“And I, John, saw these things, and heard them.”

—Revelation 22:8

In case some locals haven’t seen it, here is recently released footage from the emergency waiting room inside Joplin’s St. John’s Hospital on May 22, 2011:

And here is a photo I took this morning, 5-22-12, showing the slow demolition of the iconic hospital:

    • Sedate,

The difference between seeing on television what the 5-22-11 tornado did and seeing it in person is unbelievably stark, which, I imagine, was also true for Ground Zero in New York City.

Jeese Sedate,- I just defended the Joplin people who were classified as very under educated in a National blog, you discredited me!

Not only am I not from Joplin, I know jack shit about the place. This (relatively context free) video is the first I’ve heard of this disaster, so at least I have an excuse for saying something (intentionally) stupid for (mildly and probably inappropriate) comedic purposes.

So your defence of Joplin’s brain trust is as valid as before.
